 Area 1 is covers the eastern half of Sydney area, also extending north to around Gosford on the Central Coast and south past Botany Bay to the Sutherland Shire.
Area 1 in action
Members of Zonta Clubs in Area 1 meet monthly for either breakfast or dinner to listen to interesting speakers, to enjoy fun and fellowship while advocating for and promoting the advancement of women.
Clubs also organise fund raising activities including special dinners, musical days, theatre parties, jewellery and clothing sales. Further information about Club meeting dates and locations can be found by clicking on the Club name above.
Clubs support girls and young women achieve their educational goals by providing scholarships and awards to local schools, universities and colleges.
Club members also enhance women’s health by making and distributing breast care cushion and by packing birthing kits for women in developing countries. More information about these Zonta International District Projects can be found here. |
