Zonta Clubs choose their projects, events and other activities according to the interests of members and how that intersects with the objects of Zonta.
They could get involved with the projects currently under way in the District or look further to those supported by the world wide membership of Zonta International.
In these works, they advance one or more aspects of the status of women, including the:
- educational
- professional
- legal
- health
- economic or
- political status of women.
In District 24, Clubs may get choose to support the District 24 Endorsed Projects. In 2008-2010, these are:
- providing Zonta Breast Care Cushions to women recovering from breast surgery, or
- assembling Zonta Birthing Kits to improve the maternal health outcomes for women in developing countries. |
