I have been a member of Zonta for 29 years being a charter member of 'Parramatta-Ryde' club. I joined Zonta to mix with women in managerial positons as I was a Direcor in a male dominated international manufacturing company working in Asia and Europe.
In my working life, for 30 years I was a director of a company in the business of manufacturing veterinary vaccines in various offshore markets. I am now involved in various start up businesses which I guide through their early growth, some of which I have sold after initial development.
My latest venture is in early childhood learning -
the Yareenumba Learning Centre, which involves construction and development of long day care facilities.
I have been three times the Chairman, Judging Panel, NSW Premiers and Ministers Awards for businesses in Western Sydney which are competing for the "Excellence in Business award".
In between times, I enjoy the ballet, opera, friends visiting, occasional dog walking, and plenty of time with my grandchildren.
