Anti-Slavery Australia knows that people facing forced marriage may only have one opportunity to reach out for help. This website offers vulnerable people the opportunity to access reliable information about marriage in Australia and direct access to legal advice and support through a simple email or text message.
eS4W (Economic Security for Women) is holding a consultation seeking women’s views on economic empowerment, workforce participation and their financial independence and sustainability in retirement. eS4W and its member organisations are holding consultations and promoting an online survey to find out what women consider should be the priorities for government, to improve women’s long term economic wellbeing. The deadline for input is 13th November.
The results will build on the core issues of:
• Women and girls into non-traditional occupations and industries
• Workplace gender equality in the Small to Medium Enterprise sector
• Financial literacy: savings and investment (financial independence in retirement)
The results will also outline future areas of work for economic Security4Women into 2016-2019.
