Clubs
Highlights
As a voluntary service organisation, the engine room of Zonta is the Zonta Clubs that are dotted around all parts of our community. There are 27 Clubs in district 24, located throughout NSW and the ACT.
Zonta Clubs
These Clubs carry forward the vision created in 1919 by some 600 women in the USA. Zonta International has blossomed into an organisation which today engages the mind and spirit of over 30,000 women and men, in 1100 Clubs in 65 countries around the world.
To contact your local Club, pick their name from the drop down list above. Each has an email address and would love to hear from anyone wishing to contribute to the work of the Club.
Z Clubs
Zonta is also active in high schools, TAFEs and universities. Called Z Clubs, these groups are sponsored by their local Zonta Club to give young people opportunities to develop leadership skills, promote career exploration and encourage members to participate in community, school and international service projects.
With the help of experienced Zonta sponsors, who provide resources, information and guidance, Z Club members (high school students) and Golden Z Club members (college or university students) work to improve their society and the world. Z Club and Golden Z Club members plan, organize and participate in unique activities designed to meet the needs of members, their schools and the community, while emphasizing an international outlook and strong international relations.
There are currently over 200 Z and Golden Z Clubs in 16 countries around the world.
